I miss you!

So, I haven’t been blogging for a while for a couple of reasons:

1. I’m just too damn busy trying to maintain my CGPA so that I can pass the cut-off point set by MARA.

2. I have not much inspiration to blog anymore.

3. I have done nothing remotely boisterous like what I have always been doing before. (Actually I have, but I can’t tell people about it…they call it having-no-freedom-of-speech)

4. NO INTERNET CONNECTION %^&&(&^%$_)()%^&*^&*(&^

5. I’m not as vain as I used to be…(don’t laugh…I CAN SEE YOU!)

My life is still interesting in its’ own way, but most of the events are transitory, trivial, and I’ve forgotten most of them…(or maybe I’m just too lazy to recall)

Updates:

1. I was happy with my midterm result; it is better than last semester’s…dying to know the results of my finals.

2. I influenced somebody who was planning to quit INTEC to stay on…and now, we might be going to the same university.

3. I’ve met my parents…for like five minutes…if it were five minutes longer, I would have died out of suffocation from all the stress.

4. Still broke…shopping malls are hell on earth!

5. I met my extended family for a high tea at Hilton PJ…I was REALLY happy to see them…my grandparents were really happy to see me and vice versa…

6. Some people can be a real bitch…I hate it when they unleash their bitchiness just because they assume that whatever they are doing is the ‘right’ thing to do…wtf!

7. Last year someone told me that he reads Wikipedia for pleasure…I was dead shocked because I never thought that someone like that would exist…this year, I’ve started to read Wikipedia FOR PLEASURE! WTF!

You go to one page, and you just can’t help but to go to another…and before you knew it, you’ve spent ONE HOUR reading something as errrggghhh as Wikipedia…

WTF!!!DOES THIS MEAN THAT I’M GONNA START READING BOOKS?????

PLEASE GOD NO!!!!!

8. I just realized that I haven’t opened my MySpace profile for almost THREE MONTHS! And that’s not necessarily a bad thing…I’m not fazed by things like MySpace anymore…and it’s not like I seriously have like 1000++ friends in real life…

I don’t even care about my blog’s readership or followers…It’s not like I’ve made a prodigious effort to promote my blog and expand my blogger community before…so, why should I start now…

I love blogging because of the comfort it provides me…(wtf!)I’m not here to compete for the most-number-of-readers-award with some other mediocre bloggers who have no original ideas at all…so…

But, I still LOVE you for reading!

The worst advice that you can ever give…

I don’t know whether I’ve complained about this or not…

But, I think that the worst advice that you can ever give to a person is…

JUST BE YOURSELF!!!

Fuck hell…I’m sorry to say…but, why the hell would you tell somebody to be “their selves” when they themselves are not good enough at the first place…

If they constantly stay the same…how the hell can they improve then???

I do admit, that sometimes “be yourself!” is the most appropriate advice to give to someone who really needs it…especially if that someone is already good enough before, and he/she has become worse after he/she went through some sort of transformational phase…

But thing is…this advice has become too cliché that it’s used at mostly the wrong times…

Like for example….if somebody has never went though this transformational phase at the first place, why would you tell them to “be yourself”, when they already are being “themselves”???

Another instance is: a couple of years ago I heard of somebody organizing a prom and I asked what the dress code was…and guess what??? The dress code was “be yourself”!!!

Thing is…I know that what they were really trying to say was to dress-up formally…but why why do they have to tell people to “be yourself” when they actually expect people to “be Brad Pitt” or “be Angelina Jolie”…

If wearing pajamas represents “myself”…then would they allow me to wear pajamas to the prom???

I HIGHLY DOUBT IT!

Thing is, people who use it, usually don’t know how to use it…(I’m sorry to say but my bad experiences with “be yourself” often involve Malays)

Like recently, this singer from OneInAMillion did an interview on an English radio station…she answered ALL her questions in Malay…but, when she was asked to give an advice to her former contender, she said “be yourself!”

Annoying seyh…

Her advice was sooo not applicable to her contender…the singer gave the advice because she has nothing else to say…so, she bimbotically tell her contender to “be yourself” when obviously that is a very stupid advice to be given at the first place…cause I know that her contender is a bitch (in real life)…so, if her contender become “herself”, then she would obviously lose votes because of her bitchiness…(or maybe that was her REAL plan after all)

And furthermore, if somebody IS a fake…then, doesn’t that represents “themselves”??? meaning…even if you’re ‘fake’ you’re still being “yourself” because that’s what you are…

So, the best advice to give to this fake person is…”be fake”…because for a fake person to be ‘fake’ would mean that they wouldn’t become fake anymore…get it???

In other words…negative times negative equals to positive…(eyh ye ke???)

And do you know how HARD it is to change a personality??? Well, believe you me, IT’S SERIOULY ARDUOUS…so, people are rarely NOT THEMSELVES!

So, I approached this kakak because she was looking at me as if she wanted to offer help…
